Good morning,
It’s Friday again, and nearly the end of the year. Frankly, I’m looking forward to some time off. I hope everyone else has the chance to do so, too.
As always, if you’re enjoying Solidaritas, paid subscriptions are available for US$5/month or much much cheaper at US$40/year. Have a lovely weekend!

Namaan Zhou wrote an incredibly moving and infuriating article about the deaths of four delivery drivers while working in Australia. Since he wrote it, one more driver has been killed.
Civil Eats has published a whole series of great pieces on food sovereignty in north American Indigenous communities recently, and they’ve provided a handy link summary here.

Watch and listen
Taskmaster season 10!! Hilarious. Watching comedians trying to solve logic puzzles is always a good use of time.
The latest episode of the Point of Origin podcast looked at food apartheid in the US and why we shouldn’t call them ‘food deserts’.
I’m catching up on my insanely long podcast list, and this two-part episode of NYT’s The Daily about the life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg is great.
Eat

I went to Sydney for the day on Wednesday to pick up my partner from hotel quarantine, and we had lunch at Al Tazah Charcoal Chicken in Regent’s Park, which turned out to be an amazing find. Deliciously moist charcoal chicken and some phenomenal hummus.
